A new product from PCC EXOL SA.
Soft, fluffy, dense, snow-white foam… is there anyone who doesn’t like it? During a relaxing bath, it gives us a sense of comfort. It makes us feel relaxed and satisfied. A white cloud of foam brings to mind lightness, cleanliness and freshness. The fluffy and dense foam is due to surfactants – surface-active chemical compounds with foaming properties. They are added, among other things, to various personal care cosmetics. They make our daily personal hygiene routine easy, pleasant and enjoyable.

However, the formation of foam by surfactants is not always a desirable occurrence. This applies to various industrial processes where foam formation is deliberately prevented.
Many industries are therefore looking for effective anti-foaming agents that eliminate the formation of foam during technological processes. One of these is ROSULfan®E, a new anti-foaming surfactant from PCC EXOL SA.
The unquestionable advantage of this product is its wide range of applications. It is perfect as a component of highly alkaline industrial and household cleaners and acidic preparations used for cleaning metal.
It is also used in the textile industry as a wetting agent in cotton bleaching and mercerisation processes.
Its high alkali resistance and low-foam properties make it a widely used ingredient in professional formulations in the industrial and institutional cleaning segment.
ROSULfan®E is also used as a wetting and cleaning agent in the photographic industry, in offset printing and in formulations for electroplating.
The product can also be used as an effective wetting agent in alkaline solutions for the chemical peeling of fruit and vegetables.
