By reporting our activities on the international ECOVADIS platform, we have achieved the Gold level of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Being a member of a number of national and international organizations working for sustainable development is an ennobling influence that motivates us to implement good practices in the field of responsible management of our organization. It is such organizations that teach us how to be responsible towards society and the environment. As part of national and international initiatives to which we are signatories, we conduct an open dialog with leaders in corporate social responsibility, as well as community organizations and the representatives of the scientific community. This enables us to actively participate in various types of initiatives and have our say in matters relevant to our industry and the environment.

As a certified member of RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil), we actively support sustainable palm oil management worldwide. In 2014, we successfully passed the first supervision audit, thus maintaining the RSPO certificate in the Mass Balance variant, awarded a year earlier.
In the third quarter of 2014 we were the first company in Poland to implement a system of “Good Manufacturing Practices”, in accordance with the guidelines of the European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients.
As a member of the European organisation CEFIC, we form a coalition of chemical producers who play a key role in the transformation of the modern economy.
By maintaining the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, we monitor and improve processes related to quality and environmental aspects.
As a signatory of the “Diversity Charter”, we promote diversity as a positive factor in the environment and counteract discrimination in the workplace.
In July 2016, the occupational health and safety management system was certified in accordance with the ISO 45001 standard, which complements the already existing integrated quality and environmental management system.
The company also has an energy management system certificate compliant with the ISO 50001 standard. The purpose of the standard implementation was to increase the company’s energy efficiency and reduce energy costs.
As a signatory to the UN Global Compact, we implement 10 principles of sustainable development to protect the environment, respect human rights and prevent corruption.
The Bezpieczna Chemia Programme is an original Programme of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry. By joining the Programme, we have gained the opportunity to exchange information and experience in the area of occupational health and safety, fire safety and process safety. We are implementing and promoting the best available practices in these areas.
As a participant in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), we are obliged to prepare a detailed emission report once a year. Such a report is subject to evaluation in terms of a number of specific factors, such as the quality and comprehensiveness of data and the effectiveness of emission reduction measures in individual areas of the company’s operation.
The ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) system provides assurance that our products are recognised as more environmentally friendly. It monitors the production cycle and traceability in the supply chain, allowing us to be confident that the Company’s production practices are carried out responsibly and with respect for natural resources.
As a surfactant manufacturer, we are affiliated with the European CESIO organisation, which aims to create new scientific knowledge in the field of human health and the environment in order to optimise the safe use of surfactants and ensure the contribution of industry to the beneficial development of society.
