SEPAWA 2025 – New Directions in the Chemistry of the Future

This year’s edition confirmed that the chemical industry is entering a new era – evolving from a focus on efficiency and performance to responsible chemistry, where innovation, safety, and sensory experience go hand in hand.

PCC Exol SA presented how it combines technology, science, and responsibility to develop sustainable surfactants, smart formulations, and modern chemical solutions that meet global trends and real market needs.

Key trends discussed during SEPAWA 2025 included:

  • New formulation technologies – multifunctional surfactants, “mild yet powerful” systems, and high-concentration formulations,
  •  Efficiency and optimization – less water, less packaging, more performance,
  • Sensory experience – chemistry you can truly feel,
  • Holistic approach – blurring boundaries between skin care, hair care, and home care,
  • Automation and digitalization – predictive formulation, AI-driven performance testing, and digital tools in R&D and customer service,
  • Transparency and certification – building trust through quality and data,
  • Sustainable chemistry – not just a trend, but a new standard of competitiveness.

Participation in the SEPAWA Congress 2025 provided PCC Exol SA with an excellent opportunity to present its innovative technologies, exchange knowledge and experience, and strengthen relationships within the international chemical community.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth for their engagement, inspiring conversations, and ideas that made these three days in Berlin full of energy and new opportunities.
